Christopher Pretlove
Physiotherapist
Chris is a compassionate physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland and has developed a broad skill set managing post-operative orthopaedic cases, sports injuries, and rehabilitation under schemes such as NDIS and WorkCover/TAC.
Chris has a strong interest in working with climbers and combat sport athletes, including those involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, taekwondo, karate, Muay Thai, and MMA. With close ties to the climbing community and bouldering gyms across Victoria, he frequently supports athletes returning to sport after injury.
He has a particular interest in treating upper limb conditions—both post-operative and non-operative—especially involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers. Drawing from his own experience in rock climbing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Chris understands the physical demands of these sports and tailors rehabilitation to help patients safely return to activity while building long-term strength and resilience.
